Botox Cosmetic
Injectable cosmetic procedures are probably the most well-known treatments for improving one’s appearance and offering a younger look. Injectables are used to fill out certain parts of one’s face and/or to smooth out wrinkles, scars and other lines in the face.
While there are a variety of injectables and fillers in use today, the three most common types are BOTOX® , Restylane and Juvederm.
Restylane Injections
It’s called the “Gold standard of cosmetic tissue fillers” and it has been popular in Europe and Canada for years. Now the FDA has approved its use in the United States and Rx Skin Clinic is in the forefront of offering this exciting new injectable cosmetic filler. The introduction of Restylane to the cosmetic market is an excellent complement to the BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments performed. Restylane produces dramatic improvements to the facial areas below the eyes, while BOTOX® Cosmetic will remain the treatment of choice for crow’s feet and deep forehead wrinkles.
Juvéderm™ Injections
What is Juvéderm™?
Approved by the FDA in June 2006, Juvéderm™ injectable gel is a “next-generation” dermal filler. The smooth consistency gel helps to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away deeper facial wrinkles and folds, plumping your “smile lines” or “marionette lines” (the nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). It can also be used to boost your lips, or to fill in hollow and scars on the face.
